I don’t think anyone was looking for underrotations back then There was a completely different concept of what was good and what was not

Surya's scores make a lot more sense when looking at those unders. The judges were often kind to her.

This resurfacing is so about TV. They want NBC to get the 2nd and 3rd groups without interruption. NBC didn't show the first group--they did short program replays.
