Wow. All the guys seem spent at the end of these free skates. Colorado Springs altitude is really revealing how much physical effort a pairs guy is undergoing! Respect.

GOE’s are a conundrum for sure.
I get that it’s hard to understand but there’s lots of positive bullet points a team can hit and still make a mistake.
But yeah I definitely think they need to create better guidelines for awarding them.

This is a fair criticism. Some GOE bullets are rather vague. Still, I think the real issue is the judges don't have enough time to clearly review each element and assess PCS. I still wish they would split the panels.

I wonder if the altitude got to him. Ryuichi usually smiles and skates big--he looked more tentative today. I still love this pair and hope they put it all together for Worlds. They look exhausted.
