see... i teach that impromptu and it's a greatest hit for pianist... i have to say that i do understand they need to change the rhythm in a free dance but i don't like the choice they made with the sonata... i think it's a key thing... but also the way they piece is constructed... BUT, as the season progresses, since they sell the program so well and my ears are getting over the initial overwhelming tsunami of the sonata after the lyricism of the impromptu, i have accepted their amalgam .... better this than a bunch of songs by lady gaga

Clair de Lune was a musical warhorse way before it became a skating warhorse gotta give credit to debussy.. the piece is that good.. though yeah... I usually refuse to teach it so I can keep my sanity.

But only my Jimmy will dubstep to it.

I believe he’s improved a lot compared to 2019 juniors. Did not see him for awhile.

Good for Sihyeong Lee! I was starting to lose hope that we would see anything cleanish in this group. I really enjoyed that. My only quibble was too many arms over the head on jumps.
