Ladies Long Program

And Nakano goes into fourth, just over Rochette in the FS. Rochette makes the top 5. Good for her. Too bad about the mistakes. If she had skated clean, she could have actally gotten a medal. Yay for Mao!! Especially after that crash at the beginning. I though she should have won last year, so i'm really happy she did today.

You know it's an interesting competition if you finish 9th in the SP, 12th in the FP, and 7th Overall......

Not if she underrotated a lot of jumps.

Sounds like she only got dinged for the 3A, though. If that was it, and she got higher PCS than Yu-Na or Carolina, then I don't see why she shouldn't have scored higher. At least her jumps were otherwise clean, and she was the only one with a standing O.

Congrats to figure skating for being the biggest joke of ALL sports. Is there a point to the men even skating? Why not just let the judges figure it out tonight over a few drinks and then announce it tomorrow and save everyone some time and boot leather.

I love the podium. Obviously I'm no fan of Yukari, I just can't stand that leg wrap. But I'll leave it there. What matters is that my 3 favourites medalled and I couldn't be happier.

Rochette should be 4th and Nakano 5th. Otherwise, the final placement of the top 5 seems right.

So wha did we have of clean perfomances tonight ?

Lepisto
Granny
Meier
Yu-Na
Nakano
Asada (does that initial flop counts?)

6 out of 23.
Ouch

I thought that Yukari was going win the whole thing. That looked like that skate of the night.

Glad Mao won and Yu-na got a medal though. I don't get Caroline at all, mistakes after mistakes and still very high score.

Granny doubled 2 jumps I think.
Meier doubled her second lutz.
Yuna popped her second lutz.
Mao had a belly flop going into the 3A.

The ONLY clean performances were Lepisto and Nakano.
