Works perfectly, thanks! :pray::)

Dang it, they created a catwalk in the center of the ice with Anya, Alina, Sasha, Kamila, Sofia and all the other stars gliding through! :love2::party2::points::dbana:

From the way Sasha was puffing after that skate, it's clear she won't be in the GP final. Impossible. I didn't think she would take part in the Russian Nationals either.

Sasha in mixed zone about the final: 'You'll see. I don't talk about my plans. And I won't this time either.'

Another riddle from Russian fs battle ground:
- after Valieva's disqualification, Trusova becomes 2023 Russian Champion,
- Trusova in conflict with "1 Kanal", making deal with rival "MatchTV",
- "MatchTV" hires Andrey Zhurankov to commentate their "In love with figure skating" show,
- during the show, on-ice hosts presents Sasha as Russian Champion (among other accolades),
- Zhurankov immediately (and awkwardly!) corrects them by saying she has never won Russian Championships!

If anybody can make sense out of it, please share!

Combination of Match TV not usually doing figure skating events plus correct me if I'm wrong this is the first event at least with the 2 of them both present since the change in standings from nationals last year

... plus potential intrigue by Zhurankov, don't you think? 😏

Hahah, now the on-ice hosts said Valieva is Russian Champion and Zhurankov corrected them on-air.
You can't make this stuff up, rotfl!

I don't know who that is beyond a presenter for the show. All in all with the national "champion" situation for last year is pretty much what I thought it was going to be in Russia....awkward.

What's there for her to talk about? Figure skating is what she does, she's (somehow) earned a place in the final, the final is in 2.5 weeks time. The only answer is "of course I'll be competing in the final". Maybe add "barring injury" to the end but that applies to every skater so it doesn't really need to be said.

If we look at her conditioning though, it's clear she won't be competing or will at most compete in the short program then withdraw.

If she's not going to skate or not planning to skate two programs, she should withdraw and give another skater the opportunity to prepare. I'll be really, really, disappointed in her conduct if she withdraws at the last moment.

Notice I'm not making these claims against Kamila or Sofia because we look at them, look at their conditioning, and understand they will most definitely compete.

Plushenko is once again blabbing and whining that his skaters Titova and Zhilina did not win Junior Nationals even though they did more ultra jumps and accusing bias towards their competitors.

Such a disrespect to Alina who has worked so hard, grown artistically and matured right in front of our eyes.

These skaters doesn't even come from well known coaching groups with zero clout from the Feds.

Good for the Fed for calling his bluff of changing his skaters' citizenships. We'll see if he actually has the backbone to do it.
