I am worried about him a bit. The stuff people said about his jumps last year were technically correct, but expressed really nastily, I sometimes worry that he read all that and got a complex about them.

You're probably right, I do hope he didn't! The training situation has been up in the air for him, earlier this season he went to Italy? But he seems to be back with Team Crystal again now.

I understand why Deniss feels the need to go for the quad but I feel like the tension of it has been throwing off his other jumps (maybe even his other elements sometimes) this season and lowering his cred with the judges as a result, and it's so frustrating to watch.
