2023 World Figure Skating Championships Women's Free Skate

In situations like this, Isabeau's inexperience is very obvious. She doesn't have the presence of mind yet to add a combination onto another jump (not even a +2T on the first 3F for example), and it's not the first time either she's not gone for a third combo after she didn't manage to tack one onto the first Lutz.

Isabeau is truly charming, so elegant and graceful, and gifted with natural performance quality. She really does finish every movement down to the tips of her fingers. Such grit to come back from a fall on the opening jump and to deliver the programme to such a high standard, despite the disappointment and the pressure. She has done so well at her first senior Worlds.

Isabeau--she wanted that first jump too badly. but I've never seen her skate better after that fall. She really didn't let a single point get away, the levels on everything, the GOE, she skated with a joy and lightness after that fall. Hate to see her so sad afterwards tho.

I think she needs to get away from that coaching environment, I have a very bad feeling about that.
