Technically he's very very impressive. Other areas still need improvement though. I hope his technical arsenal holds up in time while he ups the PCS side as well.

I could watch the Ice Scope all day! 84 cm high! That's 10 cm high than his 3A in the short! Where did he find that extra height?!

I think so, but 2 were a bit shaky. I was also looking forward to seeing his camel spin because when it's on, it's just a perfect 90-degree angle. Today, not so much but still...

I know many of you adore him but honestly, for me this was not a clean skate. Yes he's jumping but outside of that, nothing interests me in Ilia Malinin.
That's he's beating Cha Junhwan really makes me sad, that's not the figure skating I love.
