Got up the same time as you Arriba but didn't even have coffee until it was over so I watched from Adam on through on natural adrenaline.
PS: Since Dai is Shoma's idol, If you haven't seen KanaDai's free dance and you want to cry more happy tears (not as many as Shoma tears) of joy, it's still up on ISU YT. You might need a VPN.

Observations from Saitama: Was there for Shoma's morning practice, and it was rough, to say the least...but I wasn't distressed or worried at all about it. It definitely felt like the point in a movie where the hero seemingly loses everything they'd worked for...only to come back and save the day.
This feeling was only confirmed in the 6 minute warmup when Shoma did some amazing triple axels and quadruple flips. By that point I somehow knew he would do it... and boy did he ever do it! Our little legend has saved the day once more with those sublime artistic qualities he has! He kept hanging in there for as long as he possibly could! Shoma did the best possible performance he could do in his condition, and for that I am proud of him. (Although perhaps each of us fans saved the day as well with our love and support.
) I wouldn't be surprised if he decided to skip the gala; I hope he does what is best for him and his health. Rest up, Shoma, next season awaits you, our two-time world champion!

Yes, the blue suit. Just glide around Shoma. But, he won't do that!He'll skate the gala, even if he has to do it with watered down jump content. I don't think he would want to disappoint his fans. So will we seePadam Padam in the blue suit?!

I still think he’ll use a costume he's used to wearing...if he skates.
This too is a possibility, a rather pleasant one, I might add.He could do a gala without jumps at all, he's magnificent even with both feet on the ice all the time

Yes, but that was when he didn't even accept his medal with his skates on. He's not in THAT bad of shape. He could do the Uno toe and the Uno flip for the whole program. I just read that Shoma said he was tired of hearing people talk about him not doing the 4T,3T so he just wrote 4T,2T in the line-up. And then proceeds to do a 1T. That's Shoma!
