I hope they do. I think the change will be good for them. Linchuk's already coaching plenty of other dance teams, so they won't be lacking in competition and pressure, although I guess they won't be their main rivals.

Well I hope that this change is good for them. I think that it will be. Now the excitement builds up to see their first program of the year so we can all debate if this was a good change or not for them!!!

Wow. They seem to have left on good terms at least and I hope that they will still remain friendly with Davis/White. I really hope this move works out for them and they knock us dead next season. Good luck Tanith and Ben!

Tanith and Ben seem to be very good with all of their competition... granted they got a bit of flack this year because of their music changes to their OD - because of Wester and Barrantsiiv (I can't spell his name I feel bad ) already having Cotton Eye Joe... a lot of upset people in the crowd during the OD over that...

but I've never seen anything in them that shows off bad or forced sportsmanship on thier part.

I think a change will be good for them. They've been stagnating a bit in the last couple of years. I've had the distinct impression they've needed a bit of rejuvenation.

I think this is a good move for them, too. A bit of the "Linichuk look" (her couples always seem to have a certain distinctive style of movement to them) would look good on them, especially on Tanith.

However, on a related note -- how come there only seem to be like FIVE ice dancing coaches in the entire world???? You'd think with the amount of ice dancers that have come along over the last 30 years, more of them would be coaching the current upper ranks. Seems like every time a couple switches coaches, they go to one of the same 5 or 6 people.
