AFAIK he only starts working with skaters from some age. Samodurova was coached by his wife.

Mishin is a really great tech specialist who, for example, partially corrected Matvei's technique. But not every skater is able to jump without the prerotation. And I don't think that technique can be seriously corrected in adulthood.
