Well the person I replied to was speaking specifically about jumps and skating skills. Theres a similarity in their face, but otherwise Trusova's physicality was very different (much more muscular).

Comrades, I'm going to crab some alcohol, young men's battles begin. For some reason it matters to me not only who gets into the top 3, but who ends up in the middle of the table. The qualification for RusNat of one of my "favorite sons" depends on it.

Gordeeva wouldn't make it even if she was 2nd, Labutina has a higher total.

I will honestly be heartbroken if Labutina isn't there, she is one of my favorites. Titova just didn't have her head in the game this year, for whatever reasons. The rest of the girls brought their A game and deserve to move on. (Enough cliches lol). Margo pretty much locks up 1st place because of her tech, but it has been wonderful to see fantastic skating from non-Eteri girls this year. I'm grateful to channel 1 to have been able to watch all these wonderful little (and not so little) girls this year. Outside of Russia the women's field has never been so weak.
