2023-24 Russian Local Events – Discussion

Fedor Barchenko-Emelianov is really uninhibited. Listening to the slowed-down version of his musical accompaniment, I heard so many foul words... But in general, Russians don't sweat it.

Tima is off his feet, first triple axel to step-out, second one to fall, but he guessed to hook a double touloupe to another jump and was not left without a cascade at all.
Not his best day, but let's hope Tima will be in good shape soon.

Dima was very tired by the end of the skating, I can't explain the cascade 1 loop + 1 tulup by anything else.... The rest was not bad, but the loss of the whole cascade sends him to the second place. It's a shame, but nevertheless, glad Dima is back on the ice and doing well 3A and 3A-Eu-3S

Kulikova's program is so beautiful. I never get tired of the music or the program. Maya-just does nothing for me with this program. Slow and boring. Maya's PCS grossly inflated for what she put out there today.

I'm glad he held on to silver and I'm hoping that Tima will bounce back strong. 💪

Zhiguli competition, Tolyatti

I've noticed with great pleasure that Dobromir is right on top. Great start to the day! :giggle:

Tima should, as long as some hope remains that he makes it to the Junior Nats. It would be a significant career jump for him. Last season he couldn't even come close to qualifying for the Nats. Now he's the first backup player.

Dima will probably miss the Junior Nats, although he can exercise his right to be a member of the national team. If he doesn't do it, we will wait for him at the Senior Boys and Girls Competition, he is not yet 17, he can participate and get into the national team again.

Moscow Champs

Watching Channel One Cup while keeping an eye on the boys in Moscow - where there seems to be a tech fault disrupting Ilya's FS :(

Poor Ilya, the long wait took its toll.

Next up, Georgiy Likhachov. Wow, he's had a growth spurt. Looking good.

Everything worked out for him  Molodyets, Vadim!
But hey, I've mised Kolesnikov - he musted have smashed it out of the park. From 7th in SP to winning the FS with the best Tech Score 👏👏
