The tickets for nationals are sold by discipline. The fastest-selling tickets are for the pairs and women's free skate. For these disciplines I would buy tickets immediately (the federation usually announces the start of ticket sales in advance) or at least the same day.

In better times the answer would be the first hour or even minutes (when there were hardcore fans of Valieva and other stars). Right now, it's hard to predict how it will go. I've never been to a competition not in Moscow/SPb. But it is known that last year in Omsk sales were very good, given that the arena there is huge. How long in advance should someone buy tickets if they want front row seats? Like before there are no spots left? I am strongly debating going.
