2024 U.S. Nationals Senior Pairs Free Skate

Ellie and Timmy are nice and all but they do not have the technical ability yet to compete as seniors in my opinion (neither did the Markhovs) They won't get far in the standings if they do not improve their elements. I was not impressed, unfortunately.
They will learn a lot just being here. I remember Bin Yao & Luan Bo at Olympics finishing last in the same way. Because of that experience he went on to become the coach of Shen & Zhao. I don’t write anyone off because of this story.

They've already won the US Nationals Junior title and they are not eligible to compete in either juniors or seniors internationally. I mean I guess they could have skated in Juniors again, but considering all they can compete in is domestic competitions I don't think it's a bad thing for them to skate as seniors.

I think they made the right choice. they will learn faster this way.

I wonder why Nica and Mark don't compete more. I think there have been some injuries?

The technical level is deliberate. Ellie is going through a growth spurt.
