hmmmmmm I still liked the Aussies better..... p/m are very strong but their packaging is semi-tragic, was actually reminds me of schizas in that regard...the programs aren't even close to living up to the quality of their skating

i am confused : ok. missed combo but they are so strong jump wise.. what's with the 2loop ????? they used to do a 3s .... are they just getting ready to upgrade ?
ALSO : they got rid of the ugly Leonova-Kvalko position on their lifts.
Chris : PCS wise, it should be better than the Aussies... it will be close.

I wonder why they didn’t do a triple loop as their SBS, rather than an intentional double. Both are excellent jumpers (his little mishap today excepted)

I'm nervous. I can't take it. Where is @Ichatdelune when I need my hand held? At least I only have to be nervous for about 5 more minutes. Ellie I will name my next cat after you if you land your jumps.

that's the most puzzling about them so far...
they keep evolving right.. only their second season. They have changed the ugly lifts... they keep getting better and better throws.. (except in the SP i am afraid) the twist has improved...
and then.. this 2 loop ? The only rational explanation is that they are hoping to get a 3loop for worlds.

I think the Australians were very good and certainly nailed those jumps! But their performance was junior-ish and the lifts were mechanical and lacked musical expression. I really think they got an extra bump because of the jumps. Lia and Trennt were not perfect but I question the lower goe's their lifts received despite Lia's amazing positions and Trennt's solid base. It was close but I think Lia and Trennt deserved the higher spot.

Damn, their SBS jumps are so good. It's interesting that most pairs even on the highest level struggle with SBS jumps, but G/GP here seems to have SBS jumps as their strongest element. Love the choreo sequence in the end too

that seemed more like a collection of really great pairs elements set to music, rather than any kind of program or connection to the music
