2023-24 Russian Local Events – Discussion

Wow, this is harsh. A 10-point TES drop. I expected them to put her behind Kate, because there were obvious URs, but not so much calls. Especially considering they didn't even call Kate's Lutz "e".

I dont know how Ksenia managed to stay up on that 3lz-3T, but she did :clap:
Its so nice to see her in such good shape, with the injury at the very beginning of the season I wasn't expecting her season to go this well.

Kate grew, and her jumps are now better then ever. I still don't believe she has improved her tech so much during the summer. But I think she's just an exception.
She is looking much better than last season, Her jumps look very sustainable to me so im very exited to see how she will fare next season. Its always nice to see girls from outside of Moscow and SPB that still train elsewhere do so well.

From what I learnt, she doesn't train in Tula full time, She spends quite a lot of time at the training camps in Moscow, but she still trains in her hometown.

Her jumps last season were terrible. Small and she couldn't rotate them. I thought there're hopeless. This season her 3F+3T looks so good that it's impossible to think that a year ago she didn't even have a good 3T+3T. They're certainly not huge, but still good. They look like she'll keep them. She reminds me of Yametova in her first senior season.

Rusakov Memorial

Just rewatched Klimentiy Tolchinskiy. He fell on the 3A and wasn't quite as energetic as he was the last two times I saw him. There's always FS.🤞

Dobromir got his 3A-3T done :cheer2::cheer:
I just realized that Artem and Dobromir (and more) will be competing here and then having to compete at novice nats in just a week. that rough

Beauty - he did it. For the SP at least

Standing after short programme (Boys/1 sport)
1. Dobromir Voronov 72.02
2. Artem Fedotov 70.26
3. Gleb Dudchenko 63.43

Gleb was pretty good as well.

There are a few days in between, so won't be too trying. Plus they do run-throughs all the time.
