Observations from Friendship Cup (other than senior women)

I'm very curious how Andreeva/Blinov would be judged internationally. They look very good and Russian judges give them very high levels.

Shegai/Shamshurov were going for the skate of their life but then there happened a random fall on a choreo sequence attempt.

Karartynyan did really well. He only fell on the third quad attempt. The rest was very good including the 3Lz+3Lo+2A.

Korobitsina fell again on a fully rotated 4S attempt.

26 girls broke 60 point barrier 2 of them did not qualify to the free, the difference between bronze and 20th place is 6 points and 8 girls ( 4-11) are all on 67 points after the short.
Only 5 spots up for grabs this season instead of the 6 spots from previous seasons. The free will be blood bath.

I've been waiting so much for the boys, which is an appropriate stellar field for proper Championships. But I'm not sure whether I can watch in real time

And they were pretty much all at the same level-all wonderful little girls with great jumps and skating skills. Very sad it is such a long shot. Still can't figure out how Lena got 3 deductions, I can't hear the music, so perhaps she finished late?

she fell twice, one on the combo and second time when she was trying to get up after her 1st fall then she finished after the music had ended.

Im actually little surprised Zavidskikh is still with Marjanski, I thought for sure he would transfer by this season either to coaching in team in a another rink or to team tut.

a really nice and big 3A from Sasha M only for him to go and pop the lutz at least he managed to save the combo after the bad landing on the loop

Timofey has gotten even more taller than the last time I saw him
He is still such a beautiful skater with big jumps. The combo wasn't the best, but overall a very string skate for a skater with no 3A.

Artem lands his 1st attempt at a 3A in an sp!
Artem has now landed 4/4 3As in competition, it so impressive how stable this jump is for him as he just added it last month

Lyutikov did not come with the Voronovs either, I wonder why they didnt just change coaches instead of backing Lenas mom in this ridiculous hate campaign. Obviously he would stop coaching them after Lenas moms post.

It didnt look rotated but Alisa still landed her 3A!
Alisa struggles with rotating her jumps but she has improved a lot in this season.
