Quan/Lim's performance was a gorgeous one. Technically strong but what I loved the most was that I totally bought the story that they painted on the ice, some good acting here I think! My favourite Umbrellas of Cherbourg maybe even since one of Virtue/Moir.

Now that Hannah and Ye are over it's going to be only disappointment and heartbreak for me because this is ice dance and I don't share the judges' tastes. I'd drink something stronger than Monster energy but I have to stay awake so

That makes their expression make much more sense. Black Swan is a movie about.. mental illness and perfectionism, not about being a pretty swan ballerina.

I had a dream last night that I was taking a super shuttle from the Boston airport to my hotel for Worlds next year. The driver of the shuttle turned around and, just as I realized it was Nam Nguyen, began shooting a T-shirt cannon at me and the other elderly passengers. I woke up screaming and wondering which boots I should back.

Hannah and Ye moved me. This is a team I believe no matter of music chosen. They are authentic in performance that makes me pay attention to every detail in expression they offer.

Lim/Quan's Umbrellas of Cherbourg is always jaw dropping to me, I will never not sing its praises. The chemistry, the choreo, the emotion, the everything of it all UGH it's my favorite program of the year.
Absolutely tragic that they're only in 4th, but wow, what a program. The most memorable one of the year, maybe second to the Pirinen/Orihara's Chicago program.

I honestly tried very hard to be emotionally and intellectually neutral about Diana and Gleb's performance. wanting to see it as with fresh eyes.
I just can't like it, and after seeing the Czechs immediately after... that made me like it less.

Where is the link to Rhythm Dance from these Worlds? I can't find the link while I can find for other finished segments. I wanted to watch the SDs that I missed yesterday during Zamboni time. I only can find links for some teams but not for Turrkila/Versluis.
