In the movie Vincent Cassel is the most integral part of her obsession (and some other people's obsession I guess too)

His approval, more than him I would say, if even. Her still trying to nail the part of the swan was the crux of the movie, than him or his affection, in my opinion.

I watched the movie too, and while I agree that he is the one who pushes Nina to go over the edge in the end the film is about her psyche, not his. And can you, hands on your heart, say that M. Smolkin was portraying him and not Siegfried?

I'm sure it will. I skate and I'm seeing some teams that didn't get to worlds choreograph for next season and I've seen very little boards touching. So if my anecdotal experience is a trend, I sure am happy about it.
