2024 World Championships Men's Free Skate

Are you saying he has difficulty with the jumps unless he does that? Interesting, considering I always heard it was more difficult to do them with your hands over your head.
Depends on how you initially learned them.

It's 'gabrielle-eh', as @elektra blue can confirm. I have no idea why Mark, who tries to get names right, just doesn't try with Signor Frangipani, it's not even remotely difficult
Interesting! I thought the rink announcer said "Gabriel", but maybe I missed the 'eh'.

Aww step sequence level 2? (That's another question! I've seen the level and score for a step sequence pop up in the BOX when the skater only seems to be halfway through, do you have to do all the turns and things in a certain amount of time? Or do the tech panel review it later? How does that work?)

-2 for the backflip for Adam!
I asked people in the arena if they think the risk was worth it, it might be the difference between 10 and 5 place.
Everybody said it was absolutely worth it, even landing on 2 feet, and I can’t agree more!
The crowd went absolutely wild!

Well, Adam likely wouldn't have done it at the biggest event of the season if he had a real chance at a podium. :(

You have to do them on your first attempt, so once you started a turn sequence you need to hit all the requirements, you can’t just keep trying as you go to get them the second or third time.

With all due respect, Mark and Tonia are not my favorite commentating team. At times I have trouble understanding Mark because of his accent, and Tonia just doesn't have anything interesting to say.

Gabriele planned second half 3Lz-3T, 3F-eu-3S, 3Lz
What we saw tonight 3Lz-eu-3S, 3F, 3lz -eu - "oops can't have another 3 jump combo"

I'm immune to Camden breaking my heart fortunately because I can just enjoy whatever he gives on the day. This was pretty nice overall despite the mistakes. It could have easily turned into a disaster. I do wish he would spend more time on his spins--he always loses levels (& GOE) and Alex Johnson was an amazing spinner. I'm really curious to see what he'll be able to do once he graduates in a couple months and can focus on his skating.
Honestly I think Camden should move on

LOVE Gabriele’s skating! I look forward to his improvements and advancing up the world rankings in the future!
