I have a few questions : is Adam's backflip considered to be part of the choreo sequence ? and if yes, would it encourage judges to give him higher GOEs on that choreo sequence (like to somehow reward the risk, boldness, etc....) then without the backflip ?

Yes it is the second jump of his choreo sequence

Unfortunately I’m terrible at multitasking, I’m at the Bell Centre since Monday, watching figure skating at least 14 hours per day and feel like a zombie right about now, haha!

Interestingly, the Arabian he does (the no-armed cartwheel thing) is allowed (and is a huge crowd pleaser too) even though he pretty much goes upside down on that. I wonder why it's allowed.

Because the back flip was made illegal in 1976, and the jump Adam does and the Raspberry have not been banned.
