Moving to Juniors is definitely a big challenge for them - The Junior Free has three more elements than the Advanced Novice one in pairs. But the quality of their skating as a pair and of the fundamental technique of their pairs elements is already so apparent.

Obviously, the difficulty is still low, and jumps have been their weak spot even in Novices, but nothing a few years and good coaching can't fix.

If governments and investors were building houses at the rate pairs and ice dancers are building them, we could have, but, alas, no can do.

tell me about it... it's a huge problem here... i just had to move... and the market meant that i live in much smaller and pay twice what I was paying last year... and still... I am ok... i can afford it... but many cannot. It's so sad. In Canada.... where the previous generation could buy wonderful homes with blue collar jobs just 30 years ago... now one has to be a millionaire to afford such a home.

Julia & Simon CAN - They look very comfortable together. Very solid, mostly clean skating, very well prepared for this event. Gaining strength and expression as they complete an inspired program. They maximized what they can do right now.
