That was a sharp program from Riku & Ryuchi. I like their new fierce look.

I am probably just grumpy .... i woke up on the couch last night... the FD from thr JGP was over and I had not see one team... fallen asleep right away... so i went to bed... and now, my alarm woke me up... because, well... i forgot to turn it off..

but i don't like this program from our Japanese lovelies. It's like Julie is copying herself with this high energy cover : I had flashbacks of the Oxygène program she did for Deanna and Max... with the intense percussive pondering of the music...

It worked for Deanna and Max... but here, though it's amazing to see how fast RR are going, they do not respond to the music otherwise than with speed...

I thought it was generic... Hopefully, they improve their choreography... the piece right now and their skating are not coming together.... but who cares right when you get 73 points..

To be perfectly honest I'm not in love with the program either, but this is just eons better than more Canadian mush so I'm going to take it. What I would actually love is a lively, upbeat, fun program that could show off Kihara Ryuichi's smile
