58 PCS is not that much. yes. Still they had 1.5 falls.

Hocke/Kunkel got 55 PCS last week without a fall.

I wouldn't say their marks were scandalous though, their scores line up with the scores they received in the past for similar skates. But there are definitely teams who prefer to not skate events they made many mistakes at again.

The structure of this program is exactly the same as last year.

This cannot medal at worlds.

So this reminded me a lot of Harris/Chan's mermaid and fishbones program, both water themed but not quite washing over me. The throw loop on the music was nice though. But the bubble sounds were definitely a bit weird

I like Deanna and Maxime's new free skate, they hit all the right notes with the throws etc.

I really like this team, but I do not like either of their programs this year.

This was not inspiring. Not even interesting.

Not my favorite music personally (i did Not like the bubbles), but I get what they were going for (being sea creatures and all that). I like this program tbh, but the weird sounds in the middle of it do throw me off a little lol. It was going to be hard to live up to last years programs, but this does show that it was maybe a bit harder than they thought.

Unimportant, but I love her dress. Gorgeous.

I gasped. The throw fall, followed by the lift tumble fall!!

Oh god... at least that fall was from a dance lift transition so not as high as it could've been... it was too wobbly to actually work in the first place but still

I'm still amazed that Ellie Kam can actually land a throw now

I thought the ice resurfacing was already done. I mean, 5 falls is a bit too much.

Ok, it was a disaster. But there is real potential with them now that she can land a throw, and I really find the quality of their skating to be quite beautiful. Feels like they are trying harder stuff than last year.

I'm reserving judgement on the program itself, I need to see a double fall-free version. Not the skate they wanted but their qualities did show
