Wow, Tonghe is great. Technically, he doesn’t have as much firepower, but his interpretation is excellent in both SP and FS. He really listens and catches all of the musical nuances.

my fave part was his euler combo landed perfectly well with the music. Maybe i should watch him skate to music i like so i can appreciate him more.

by 10 points... i don't know. but it's okay.

He is the strongest artistically/performer by far from the whole line-up here, it was pretty evident even in the short. Glides well. Transitions easily. And, unlike most J/K he is not painstakingly bland. Great prospect.

Considering how much he's grown over the past year, Jaekeun has done very well. He'll get it next year

okay but for this to work really well, you'd need a Crosse we've heard about... I am like who is Shannon Cross ?

I couldn't find a skater with the surname "Crosse", unfortunately. I could only find four skaters with the name "Cross":

Amanda CROSS
Shannon CROSS

And of the three Americans, that one seemed most likely to be a similar age. (She was competing in Novice in 2020).

I didn't watch the SP. Sometimes I have to sleep at the same time, I cannot take your word for it since we often disagree on what is artistic and not but I will watch the SP ... most of the boys are not there yet artistically anyway. I liked his skating today. We will have to see how he fairs with acquiring the big elements... Same old, same old.

His SP music is dire, but he made me enjoy the performance.

Sadly, that was a bit dull from Jaekeun.
