I liked Wakaba's program way more than I thought. Nice job. She and Shae-Lynn work well together. Always liked her SP "Energia" done by Shae-Lynn a few years ago.

Very nice program for Wakaba proving that her first event was not just one inspired skate but a demonstration of commitment to her message, skating and goals. Better than last time. So happy for her to have yet another fantastic skate to hold in her confidence bank as the season progresses. One of the happy skates of the year that just continues to build.

So well done from Wakaba! That final 3F on the buildup of the music was so effective! The tech looked much cleaner here than SkAm or in the short. As a result, I think the performance suffered a bit in the first half, but my goodness was she committed to that step sequence! This will 100% be enough for the GPF! I'm so happy for her, what an iconic comeback queen!

Wakaba can sell a StepSeq like no one else. Great elements. Happy for Wakaba! She is still absolutely doing very little artistically in the beginning of the program, but, whatever, she makes me forget by the end.

That was a beautiful skate from Wakaba! Loved the arabesque spiral into the twizzle with the free leg in the front and bent; honestly, I just really like her twizzles, they look satisfyingly smooth and fast. Her Ch Combo Spin at the start was really good as well. I loved her step sequence as well. And another season's best, into the 200s for her!
