If I had a nickel for every time Boyang Jin surprisingly won a GP SP over the favourite, who fell to the first group, and then flip-flopped the with the favourite in the free, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't much, but it's strange it happened twice.

But CONGRATULATIONS Andrew Torgashev!! Who should have the silver, but at least he’s on the podium.

His first GP medal ever, if I’m not mistaken

What a disaster of a men's competition compared to the last two weeks. As I thought, the best FS score of this final group was 153-ish. Good for Adam for keeping his GPF chances, but I wasn't overly impressed with anyone here. The highlight of the night was a 3A-4T within a program that had not much else to write home about. Best performance was Nikolaj followed by Torgashev for me.

i like Koshiro, i really do, but he had better skates than this and did deserved to medal in several other occasions, and i would'nt have nothing to say if he skated cleanly, but this time...well let's just say the scoring was questionable

My love for Andrew is evident and long standing.

But I have a soft spot for Boyang and his passion for skating. I'm sorry he couldn't pull off that skate.

Same. I'm really starting to root for Boyang. I said out loud about half way through - "Oh, SMILING Boyang!" I love how hard he's working. He's no Jason, but I bet training with Jason is really helping. I love how encouraging Brian seems.

I've only been casting half an eye towards GP France, as I've been occupied with various other things.

But every video and recap I see makes me content that I didn't invest hours and hours into this entire competition. It looks like a dud.

adam : he is simply preparing as he is a bit behind with the injury he had before... so all of this first half of the season is preparation
