Promising skate from the Icelandic pair. They are developing good basics, which is just what is needed at the moment. Something about her reminds me of Anastasia Vaipan-Law.

I'm back. But, unfortunately, it's just for my kids. I'll be leaving again after they skate.

They're still wearing their team jackets when the camera focusses in on them. But, we can see that the costumes are black. Well, the bottom halves of the costumes are anyway.

Lovely throw. And then Barbora starts to take off her jacket, and then changes her mind.

Saw Barbora doing a jump on her own while the camera was focussing on Irma CALDARA / Riccardo MAGLIO (ITA). It wasn't the most successful I've ever seen. And then she went back over to the boards, where Martin joined her.

Barbora's dress is all black. The top half of Martin's jumpsuit is light grey, and the bottom half is black.

And they are first up.

Having watching the Icelandic pair - I checked IG and Camilla Gjersem just posted a story from outdoor skating in Norway where she is trying a spin combination with Alex Johnson - and she wrote: "Comeback as a pair skater for Milano 2026? "

That is cruel giving me such hopes, at first I could not see the whole text and didn´t see the emoji, so for a split second I thought it was happening

Barbora/Martin. Nice outfits and a nice program. Decent skate.

mixed bag, some things were nice, some others a disaster, like that lift, but better be safe

Double Twist good.

Martin had bother landing the first part of the sequence of jumps.

But, no problems with the individual jump (Double Axel?)

Throw Triple Flip good.

So was the lift (but was it too long?)

Martin blocked out view of Barbora's landing on the Throw Triple Loop.

Oh no, I thought Martin was going to fall when holding Barbora above his head. But, he managed to bring her down safely, and then had to pause to catch up with the music.

It was obvious by now that he was tiring.

But, they got through to the end.

Barbora looks happy enogh. Martin and Luca don't.

They go into 2nd in the FS, and the lead overall.

Martin is really disappointed.

I like to be positive, so I'll side with Barbora:

WELL DONE BARBORA AND MARTIN!!!

I'm leaving again now. But, I just looked at the standings and saw that Gabbie and Luc are leading the Free Skate.



Now I wish I had come in to see them LIVE!

Not the skate Brooke and Marco wanted. It's very early days in their partnership, though.
