2024 CS PGE Warsaw Cup Pairs Free Skate

Just want to share, through tearing up - I've been gifted VC bouquets by Fiona and Ben and their coach.
The coach told me that Fiona saw crowns yesterday and was amazed by them, so today as she got her own, tgey want to say thank you for making their event special.

I feel just...grateful beyond any means.

That is so lovely. :love2: You absolutely deserve it, and I'm glad that you are getting recognition and appreciation for what you do. :)

Side by side jumps seems to be the strength of many new pairs while it is often the top pair's weakness. Is there a reason for that? They have been singles and used to practice more jumps?
Yeah I asked about this in another forum, and people said the high value jumps have never really caught on, historically. The best pairs have fairly solid 2a, salchow and/or triple toe but depend on the overall quality of their pairing and all their elements to get them ahead. And of course jumps are the element that any pair is most likely to fall on. So new pairs might get a strong start with their jump sequences and qualify instantly for worlds, but really have a ways to go to improve their pair elements and consistency. I think we're seeing this with Izzo/Maierhofer for example.

when you give love to them, they give love to you - that's why I go Walley Spring Cup in Kraków - so that skaters see people cheering for them
