Echoes of Life tour 2024-25

A promo video is being shown on terrestrial CS TV announcing both the show and a TV Special which is Yuzu being interviewed on the Echoes of Life by Shuzo Matsuoka, a former tennis player turned a sports commentator. The TV Special is to be aired on January 26, also on the terrestrial channel :)
I have to say I find the difference in their height endearing! Yuzu is not really that short as far as figure skating goes, and as for Japanese single skaters he is in fact rather tall - but here he really looks like a tiny kid when standing next to his interviewer :)

I don't think that there's any problem with BeyondLive, really.

But with Lawson Tickets, I've read a report that they ceased to support international cards, except, for some time, JCB and American Express, which can be a hope for international lottery winners who know someone with such a card.

But this announcement of a new and very brief registration period for a new sale looks like they're going to sell to others the tickets which international lottery winners with a Visa or Mastercard had initially won:

If they do so, I'm not sure if they will be chosen again to sell tickets for Yuzuru Hanyu's shows.
 
Takeshi Abo, a renown video game music composer, himself with quite an impressive fandom, posted on how "incredibly honoured" he was to have his music piece "The Stein's Gate: Aesthetics on Ice" included in the Echoes of Life and how much he loved the whole show. He actually responded to the original prime night in Saitama but I didn't see it posted here then, and it is a wonderful example of a musician's response to Yuzuru skating to their music.

Art is the right word indeed, and it stands for the whole show! And for the book, too, which is such a beautiful piece of writing being poetic and philosophical at the same time! I have just read it as it took a while travelling from Japan, but it is such a wonderful addition to the show! It really offers a fresh and deeper perspective when watching the story.

Interestingly, this poster here recalls that it was Towa Pharmaceuticals president who suggested to Yuzuru during the conversation they recorded as a promo video together that he could try putting his thoughts on the story's deeper meaning into words and have the show accompanied by a book to help the audience understand what is difficult for them to grasp from the choreography alone. To which Yuzu laughed.
And now we have the Echoes of Life book in Japanese and in English. accompanying the show.
So it makes you wonder if Yuzu laughed at the first thought of authoring a book, or because he actually was already working on it :)
Anyway, I love the book. It is a great addition to the show adding another and even deeper layer to it, and it is really worth to read it to enjoy the show even better! I hope Yuzu does even more writing. He obviously has a way with words, and has some thoughts worth of reading.

 
Report and review of Echoes of Life titled "Yuzuru Hanyu: A Story of Resonating Lives" has been announced by SkyPerfecTVGuide in their February issue going on sale on January 24 with Yuzu on the cover.

But it seems creating an account on this latest TikTok replacement is not really necessary to watch. Like in some other Chinese services, as you open the link, a pop-up window shows up asking you to sign in/sign up (in Chinese), still if you just close the window by clicking on x at the top right corner, the window disappears and you can just click on the arrow to make the video run without any account, you just need to unmute it and you can make it go full screen if you wish :)
 
Having rewatched the above vids I am reminded of Yuzuru stating in an interview that he wants everyone who bought a ticket to his show to have a wonderful and special experience. His motto is "There should be no bad seats in the venue" to which we have seen him watching the rink in person from different seats, sectors and angles at the early stages of rehearsals. The image from top camera confirms what many of those who were seated at the "rooftop" sectors said, that watching the show from there was a very different but equally amazing and beautiful experience ! The view of the whole rink with all the screens along with amazing lighting and ice projections is just so beautiful!

I really really hope they will be able to put up another extra show a little bit later on, after Notte Stellata, like they did last year with Re_Pray in Miyagi!! What do you think?

Last year at the same date, he hadn't planned a fourth show either. I don't mean that we may expect a fourth show, rather than we may hope it, if we're lucky (and if it happens, I would think it would be in Rifu near Sendai?)

I am glad Asahi broadcast parts of Echoes, the BTS and the interview with Shuzo today. Very enjoyable watch.

My Twitter is full with appreciation from both fans and general public. Yuzu seems to gain even more interest nowadays because of the medalist anime and Yuzu’s comment on it in his membership video lol. I saw many Persona 3, Ghost in the Shell, and The Medalist fans watched today’s show and being amazed with Yuzu. Very deserved. Also saw some people said they turn on the TV accidentally and got hooked by Yuzu. LOL.
