Emily and Spencer are such good performers, with great skating skills, but they needed to be perfect tonight and unfortunately this was a tough skate for them. They had so much time off the ice with Spencer's shoulder surgery, and I fear that is still affecting them. The opening group 5 lift and choreo sequence showed how great they can be, and they fought for that whole program, but unfortunately I don't think this skate is enough to justify a Worlds spot :(

I thought heading into this that Alisa and Misha were a better bet than Spencer and Emily.
