9th Asian Winter Games 2025 is set to take place Feb 7-14, 2025, in Harbin, China. The competition will feature all disciplines (Singles, Pairs and Ice Dance) in the Senior category.

The Asian Games is an international multi-sport event held every four years for members of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) which features winter events.

The event will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, Technical Rules for Ice Dance, and relevant ISU Communications.

Philippines announced their entries.

• Men: Pablo Borromeo.
• Women: Sofia Frank, Cathryn Limketkai. (Their reigning women's champion Maxine Bautista can't go because she is awaiting release from the US federation.)
• Pairs: Isabella Gamez and Alexander Korovin.

Philippines has never won a Winter Asian Games medal and they have a good chance for their first one with Gamez/Korovin.

I haven’t been able to find info. But Sui did not compete in nationals which was the selection process and she and Han have been designated China’s special delegates for the games so highly unlikely she is competing.

Olympic pairs champions Sui and Han will serve as "volunteer service ambassadors" during the Asian Winter Games.

It's considered a Regional International Competition by the ISU and is open only to skaters from one region. From an archived version of ISU Communication 1629 (Section C 1.6):

Regional International Competition (e.g. Nordics, Asian Winter Games etc.) or competitions, which are open only for special groups of skaters (e.g. Universiade, events with invitations only to designated Members (except the ISU Grand Prix events), etc.) will not count for the ISU World Standings/Season’s World Ranking (The International Competitions falling into this category will be identified in the Event Calendar published on the ISU website www.isu.org).
