I hope she isn't being pushed too hard, the falls that she got in the Japanese nats was also bad... I was scared she had to stop again here after the 2nd fall

SaeLuca survived 3 lifts program! Clearly they lack some trianing as she was injured recently and they competed as singles few weeks ago in Japan, so definitely some vulnability is visible. I hope they can get some quality trianing time with Canadian coaches before WC.

I don't think so. Actually right now they have some junior teams but only Zhu/Wang in seniors.

Wow, as much as I want the Phillipines team to medal, the North Korean team was very impressive and commanding

Love their music and costumes too!
Though their music kinda sounds like Rain In Your Black Eyes from the middle (or was it really that track mashed together?)

YumaSumi made a big step forward this year. Throws are an issue but they got much bigger. Definitely a room in their twist for triple. They are super fast, skate like a team and their lifts are great.

I don't think they will go to Boston, but they definitely can go to Oly qualifier in China and to Milan as well (location is ok).

They would have to get special visas and I don't think NK is willing to send their athletes to US. Maybe for Olympics they would make some efforts but for regular figure skating championships I doubt.

Mmmmm. Everything is working fine for me in the UK.

Surely it wouldn't have anything to do with the current strained relations between America and China, would it?

Mind you, I am finding that it takes the pages related to this event a bit longer to load than I would be used to.
