Notte Stellata | Mar 7-9, 2025

Love the socks :)
Then you'll have to go all the way to Sendai. Cold shower:

"Quilted bags, original jackets, folding umbrellas, socks, knitted hats and pouches are only sold at the venue."
For the rest (is there any rest?) the pre-sales are starting on the 3d.
It is speculated that this restriction is owed to their being able to get only a limited amount of these items; if it is so, there is a risk that they're sold out very soon after the opening of the venue booth.

Another official announcement from today. Shuttle bus tickets and parking lot tickets will be sold in advance, too, so that those coming to the shows have everything pre-booked and well organized in advance as they arrive! More details to follow on the official show's website.

An excellent interview from Nomura Mansai, this year's Notte Stellata special guest, has been reposted today in English. He talks a lot about Yuzuru's skating, particularly in GIFT, but also about more general concepts of any artist's expression changing and evolving with age, about his previous cooperation with Mikiko and about the role of costumes, particularly the huge kyogen costumes on stage, in enhancing the performance. This also offers some insight into Yuzuru's costume choices, I guess that's why Mikiko's remark has been added as an extra comment to this interview. He's also asking the interviewer to take to Yuzu a message that he believes it would be possible for Yuzu to actually skate in such a costume.
This sparked speculation, of course, if this is some clue to what we might expect for this year's Notte Stellata and the collab program. SeimeI? Bolero? Kyogen-type of costumes?
Would Nomura recreate on stage any of his earlier iconic dances?

These words give a new light to Mikiko's about costumes. By the way, I was surprised that she said that she was surprised when she saw that Yuzuru Hanyu was able to feel how a piece of clothing had to be worn in seconds, as this is what he had said himself, that the team for the Elle/Gucci 2023 photo shoot had taught him so. What's surprising is that he learned just in the time of a photo shoot, something many people can't feel in a whole life (I'm sure that I'd be among those who can't learn).

And in the meantime.... last year's Notte Stellata 2024 will be released on DVD / BlueRay. :hap10::hap10::hap10::bsplit::bsplit::bsplit::nana::nana::nana:
Release date: March 31. Pre-orders start on February 10.... Details below!

So, even counting the average shipping abroad, there will be less than two months between the end of the availability of the News Every Youtube channel videos (featuring only Yuzuru Hanyu's on-ice programs, but that's already a big lot) and the arrival of the DVD or Blu-ray? With a binge just before the video ending date, I think it will do. :)
Here's the English version of the title program, Notte Stellata, which has much less views than the Japanese version (partly because it came way later, and most international fans kept watching the Japanese version I think):

And here's Carmina Burana with Mao Daichi (and why do I let aside Danny Boy?):

Last but not least, I do prefer Yuzuru Hanyu's skating over all other skaters', but I'm longing to see them too!

Post scriptum: here's the link to Danny Boy, not embedded:

We know the special guest now but as the show time is approaching fast, guess lists and wish lists have started as to what BTS hit Yuzu and the co will dance to this time (if any, that is... )... :scratch2:
Any guesses or wishes here?

I don't know much of their music (except when one of my skaters uses it) so whatever he picks will be wonderful!

Nor do I, but there is a whole market place with proposals to be found on the internet, ha ha !
I wonder not just what but also .... if?
Was it just a coincidence that we had a BTS hit in every NS show so far or is it already a tradition? :scratch2:

It has just been announced that Notte Stellata will be broadcast this year on Hulu again including live and delayed broadcasts and later access. No news on international livestream so far....

Yay! I will keep all fingers crossed for an international one, the chances are good with any of Yuzu's shows...
