Based on the bits and pieces mentioned here and there many people thought Yuzuru's home was damaged then but not that it was completely ruined and was not liveable afterwards though he would mention it sometimes that after the emergency shelter they had to move to temporary housing.
No wonder he is so compassionate towards and cares so much for those living in temporary housing currently, or even worse, up to this day.

Speaking of which, with Hulu archive gone I took my time recently to rewatch Notte Stellata 2023 and 2024 DVDs properly and I am in awe how beautiful these shows are and also how the original concept of NS was basically ready from the very first show. Apart from the special guests who obviously change from year to year (and that's a part of the concept) only one skater was added (Javier) starting with NS no 2, and none from the original cast were ever missing. The little rituals, the recurring music themes, all those little details, were there from the start. This is really amazing! And you can feel this great vibe between them all! This is surely friends brought together by a shared feeling and a mission to honour and console. Such a heartwarming, reassuring and moving show to watch and to follow through the years.

I've lost count of how many times I’ve rewatched his performances with Kohei Uchimura, Mao Daichi, and Nomura Mansai. Happy End and Yae No Sakura are getting there too!
