So much congrats to him for becoming 4CC champion!

There were so many wholesome things about the competition and watching him win 10 years after Denis Ten in the same place was just very moving and special.

I really wish he could add to his ISU bio that he is the first skater to land a 3T in a panda suit, haha!

His programs were STUNNING!!! I couldn't stop watching them again and again, I was so much enjoyed in seeing them both, especially the free program!! Thank you @AlexBreeze for posting his interview!!

From the beginning we could see what a great progress he reached in every aspect of skating, so he placed first in the short program with ease and determination, showing the increasing quality he earned in this last period. His short program had high technique and artistic quality as always, shown this time with even brigther shining. The interpretation of the character played was more intense and captivating.

But the hardest part had to come yet, with the pressure of skating last, as he said, since it was also time ago since he skated his free program as the last skater. And then.. the wrong music!!!I simply admire how he managed this inconvenient and, even, it helped him to relase the tension and feel more confortable and relaxed!! WHAT A CHARACTER. I mean, who could mantain such a determination, concentration and iron will at these levels? Really, really few skaters, (only the greatest ones), and we could count these skaters that have such a character only on the fingers of the hand. The pressure was all over him in Seoul, also because his contender was right Junhwan Cha from Corea. But he kept fighting and believeing in himself despite everything, showing bravery in facing these difficulties. And this leads us to believe that Mikhail in now definintely one of the greatest skaters ever!
Just by analyzing his amazing free skate, you can see how much the quality of skate has changed in better, not a little, but a lot actually: refined edges, spins, skills, movements, choreo, jumps, and all these things well performed play such a big role in involving the spectator who looks marveled and captured to a program like this. And the beginning: his historical combination 3A-eu-4S well perfomed once again, just unique in its beauty as clean as stunning. The height was impressive, the rotations were speedy and the jump in its whole is really elegant. But he surprised the audience with other three quads, and other combos, all of them jumped as good as perfection, even landing right on the music notes, just look at the high GOEs he received, one of the highest reached more than 3,5 points if I remember well. And he was able to perform the program also giving a great role to the interpretation, so not with leaving it a little aside considering the jumps' difficulty concentrating in it only, but with creating an interesting wholness with details and creativity. The final exult was a special part also.

I was so happy to see that he reached 109 technique points!! And then seeing the 285 total score and his reaction and the reaction of his team, was something moving to watch. And thinking of the meaning of it... with Denis Ten's victory, ten years ago... It's touching, and heartfelt!

He deserves to have more fans and I'm happy they are more and more. The growth of mental strenght he has to face such great skaters as his contenders is admirable and inspiring. Folks, hats off because we have here one of the most talented skaters ever, an artist, the iron will skater!

Very good question!
Considering the last results, I would easily say that he has very good chances to place second. We have to expect the best from all of the skaters, so yes, Misha is going to do the very best as well. He's increasing and increasing his quality in a very short time, so we could say that these difficult kind of competitions do nothing but good for him, as if they and their pressure continue to build his mental strenght. Top skaters reveal themself with these things and attitude

I am expecting a minimum of top 10, with a chance of top 5 if he skates clean and the judges go with him on PCS and/or others make mistakes. It will depend partly on how others skate as well. If they go clean, Ilia, Yuma Kagiama, Shun Sato, Adam Siao Him Fa, Kevin Aymoz and Junwhan Cha are likely to place above Shaidorov because judges generally give them higher PCS.

i'm a little more positive than you in this case if anything because many of the men you mentioned aren't having a good season including Yuma (although i think he's a lock for silver, with a clean short and a not so clean free and his pcs he'll be there). i'm actually worried about Adam, who's also one of my favourites, he recently competed and was less than stellar.

Adam tends to either do really well, or implode. The same for Kevin Aymoz. Adam does seem to have a knack, though, of pulling off a good skate when it really matters. I think Adam made a mistake this season with trying to keep two short programmes competition-ready and alternate them - he would probably have done better with really honing the one programme.

i believe he was also skating injured and he might not be still in shape, but in a month anything can happen

From interesting and new information: Misha says that his axel is bigger in length than in height, so he can't do a 4A, but it allows him to do difficult combos. He's also having a hard time trying to do a 4Lo.

I like Misha a lot and I’m pleased to see him doing so well this season. It doesn’t really make sense to others maybe, but since Ilia Malinin is my favorite man competing these days, it makes me happy to see his fellow Junior World medalist having success and making history as well. As much as I enjoy Misha’s exciting new jump combos, I was enjoying his skating for a while before that. His Dune SP is my favorite man’s Dune costume and one of my favorite Dune programs, so I think it’s great that the costume got an ISU award nomination. It was a happy surprise that he got to go to GPF (sorry for Adam of course), and I’m thrilled that Misha won 4CC! It’s inspiring how Ivan Righini really believes in Misha and is so invested in him. If Misha keeps at it and doesn’t get discouraged, I’m sure his PCS will go up!
