I'm biased and all but his lutz edge looked somewhat better than usual, an ! rather than an e if you ask me

Oh, compared to his usual, this was a HUGE improvement. Very impressive, and such speed through the combination!

Rio wants that Junior World title so bad, that step sequence was

Curious to see how the judges will place him compared to Minkyu... Even if he doesn't lead in the SP, I hope he can also deliver in the free to take the title

Fantastic job by Rio! Super clean, all level 4. This program serves him so well. It's so full of choreography, not a single boring moment.

I am seeing little bits of Rio's heroes in that program - some, Shoma and Yuma. Great expression in the footwork. Great skimming action on the combo jump.

What and amazing event, those boys were crazy good and some even didn't qualified for free skate. 7 groups passed quite quickly.

Jacob has no quads so he will have to be clean as hell in FS to medal. Actually besides Rio who else has a quad?

He can jump but I actually think he still needs a bit more time in Juniors, he needs to build his mindset and mental fortitude.... remember his meltdown during the JGPF, after saying he wanted to win everything

As his birthday is in September, he's not senior eligible yet next season. I'm honestly kinda glad he has to spend more time in juniors and not just rush into seniors
