I have no problem with this French pair skating junior here. They have done a couple of senior competitions to get a bit of experience but are still primarily juniors. Most of their competitions this season have been on the junior circuit.

Ted is dancing around the obvious so he doesn't have to call it straight, that the Georgians are out of place here because they are really seniors, sandbagging. While I understand that in many federations, teams that are age-eligible for both juniors and seniors need or want to skate both, the ISU should really make a ruling that says if a junior team skates up in seniors and ranks Top 5 at Europeans or 4CC, or Top 10 at Worlds, that they cannot go back and skate at Junior Worlds.

I can't imagine a team that's placed as high in senior competitions as Metelkina/Berulava really gets their ego puffed up by going backwards and beating up a bunch of true juniors. Yes, they said that BS about "needing some more world ranking points" from Junior Worlds...which doesn't make much sense when you do the math....but the truth is probably more along the lines of "the Georgian Federation is making us do JW." Bah.
