They have been off all season. I can't help wonder whether the situation with her sister and brother-in-law has been affecting her. She is very vulnerable with what has been going on and alleged.

ok... i am an expert at not dwelling on botched lift by my favourite pairs/dance teams and i have a lot of experience in that department 
so here is my positive take on this, as a Canadian fan
Depth : our 3 teams are solid... the two faves had mistakes but Marly are in the final flight after so much time off due to a major injury... May his shoulder do well in the LP
Also, last year, after the SP, I thought a medal was guaranteed and it didn't happen. This year, I can breathe. No medal really is guaranteed here though it is possible... Maybe less pressure will be a good thing.
Finally, at this point, Canada wouldn't lose their third spot.... Despite the two recent splits in juniors, having 3 spots is always a good thing for Canadian pairs (and dance)
So i am all fine...
I have given up on my prediction game anyways
