We need to make a list of the songs/musicals/operas that are VERY not appropriate for teenagers to skate to and send it to the ISU.

This is an enormous issue in Russian skating. They keep using the most egregiously inappropriate lyrics for young girls. Some of the outfits & choreo are too much also.

Fun program, and some good jumping passes. Great picking technique on the toe jumps, and what a deep Lutz edge. Stefania looks so tall now, she used to be tiny two or so years ago.

Stefania is delighted too - she gave us a big smile and a double wave when she came off the ice.

They are both happy sitting waiting for the scores.

She foes into 4th position in both the FS and overall.

But she's still happy. And so am I!

Got her a bit. She fell from second 3A, which messed her up. But just think about this sentence. Fell on second 3A.

I did. In fact, when I read her name at an international Junior B, I immediately went digging for her performances earlier in the season at Russian regional competitions to check if this was indeed the same skater.
(Apparently, I am chronically online.)

so... i made a huge mistake... 5 weeks ago, i was desperate for a haircut and my hairdresser was booked solid... so i looked and i found a timeslot... for... today... at noon.. i just realised a couple days ago that it was going to make me miss my Marly and Jazzy and Kiki...

The worst thing is that I had checked to make sure it was after 4CC and before Worlds... and i forgot to look for the JWC schedule LOL

Stefania did well Will this be the best placement for Cyprus at women junior wolrds?

Best scores - yes.

Best position - Probably not. Stefania is the only skater from Cyprus that has been to Junior Worlds. And her best finish was 17th in 2023.

So, we'll just have to wait and see.

By the way, my other kid in action today, Janire IDIAKEZ (ESP), won the Bronze Medal in Senior A Ladies at the Open De Logroño!!!
