Why must you hurt me so? How is it possible that they can skate clean(-ish) at every other competition but never manage to get it together at Jr Worlds?

The bigger the competition, the greater the nerves? All it takes is for more adrenaline to make him throw a fraction harder than usual, and down his partner goes (says the voice of experience).

They skated much worse earlier this season, so good for them, but it's hard to believe that this is the same team that won silver at Jr Worlds last season. Whatever is going on with them, I hope they can turn it around next season.

Frenchies were ok but I dont know the lifts looked so shaky I was surprised they got plus for all of them, I am no pairs expert though.

Abso-f*ing-lutely stunning. Literally so good, my creative French babies. That triple flip throw was gorgeous and they really are just missing a triple twist (and maybe a triple jump) to become fully competitive in Juniors - And this is a team in its second season out of Novices (where they indeed also skated together).

I also love the French team. They're so cool. Putting their three jump sequence at the very end of the program, what guts. They seem very well matched. Would have put them ahead of Flores/Wang, who I'm not as impressed with.

Love Oxana's pairs girl energy, but this program isn't doing it for me. Happy to see her back on the international stage with a new partner though.
He doesn't have Swiss citizenship, and unless they get married, it will be a long time before he has a chance to even apply.
