2025 Ice Dreams Tour | Golden Skate

2025 Ice Dreams Tour

I skated in this show the last time they had it. Looks like its fewer locations and not as many workshops, Seems a lot smaller. Was cheaper to skate in it and do the workshop then do the meet and greet.

Yes it is fewer locations but one is Chicago and that’s only 4 or 5 hours away from me.

They may add more locations later.

Did you have fun skating in it?

Not much sense for me to go without the meet and greet. I don’t like ice shoes that much.

This could only be more perfect if they added KEEGAN and my fiancé.

I would honestly not drive 4/5 hours to see this show. I drove a little under an hour. I was the oldest skater but I learned a lot from the seminar - I wish I could've just done the seminar and not skated in the show. It was a perfect seminar if youre working on single jumps/basic spins and footwork

I have driven 2 days (and back) TWICE to see Gracie. Ridden a train for 2 days (and back) to see Gracie. Gotten on a freaking plane, to see Gracie. 4-5 hours is nothing. If she’s in the middle of an ocean skating I will find a way to get there if at all possible.

It looks like there are just seminars if people want to do that.

How is Danny going to skate in this, isn't he recovering from foot surgery, post Worlds? I see this was announced before his injury, but shouldn't the website be updated with this info?

I find it odd that Tara Modlin hasn't been promoting this on her social channels and two workshops (Green Bay and Chicago) have already passed but there's no active link for ticket sales?

Also, I see that there are 2 shows listed at the Patriot Center in Newark, DE the weekend of May 2nd. There is already another show with Alysa Liu and @moonvine's fiancé Jimmy Ma that weekend in the same venue. I believe the Patriot Center has 2 rinks so I guess it's possible - I hope they aren't at the same time, though. I have contacted the Patriot Center to see what the deal is.

If I can manage both shows on May 3rd, I will try. Then see Ilia in NYC the following Monday. Lots of skating indeed.

I haven't heard back yet from the Patriot Ice Center (the event is not listed on their ticket page) but I did see that tickets are on sale for the show in Minnesota for July 18th, if anyone is interested and lives near Inver Grove Heights (a suburb of St. Paul). Interestingly, they list Andrew Torgashev as taking part, no mention of Jason. Danny and Ellie are still listed but maybe he will be able to skate by July?

Come join us for an amazing skating show with 2024 US Pair Champions and 2025 World Competitors Danny O'Shea and Ellie Kam, 2025 US Men's Silver Medalist Andrew Torgashev, Olympic Choreographer Rohene Ward, 2022 Olympian Ashley Cain, and 2014 Olympian Gracie Gold, plus another performer will be added after the ISU World Figure Skating Championships! This is special opportunity to watch exciting figure skating up close and locally! It is a once in a lifetime experience!

As for the Chicago shows later this month at the McFetridge Sports Center shows tickets on sale for three shows that weekend. They only promote Gracie, no other skaters. I hope @moonvine has gotten her tickets and will be able to see Gracie.

ETA: I did hear back from the GM of the Patriot Ice Center, who informed me that the show is NOT happening at their venue. I'm not sure what happened there but Ice Dreams should really update their website so not to cause confusion. I will probably attend the one with Alysa and Jimmy, should be fun. I'll have to take a bus 2+ hours each way, but I've never been to Newark DE before.

I had not gotten my tickets and if there is no VIP meet and greet I’m unlikely to go. Yes, I love her skating but need face time.

I emailed them some time ago but no response. I guess I will call tomorrow.

How does one find out about the show with my fiancé?

Danny isn’t going to skate in this. This tour has bad luck with pairs. Last time they were going to have Ash and Tim and of course she had a concussion and they couldn’t skate.

Hi, I checked on tickets for the Minnesota show. Prices are $26.50 for general admission/bleacher seating (or hockey box) and $91.50 for VIP meet and greet.

Could we move the Minnesota show to it’s own thread? I’m getting confused.

I don't understand, why should Minnesota be its own thread if it is part of the Ice Dreams tour?

How did you check on them? I emailed ice dreams and got no answer.

I’m confused. Alysa and my fiancé are skating in a non Ice Dreams (I think) show. Maybe it is an Ice Dreams show but it was my impression it wasn’t (see the confusion?)

The non-existent promotion for this tour is confusing, I agree.

The tickets on sale for Minnesota say "Ice Dreams Skating Show". It refers to some of the core cast members, like your Queen and Rohene Ward. It does not include your fiancé.

The original poster (as in poster for the show, not a poster on a forum) does say, not all skaters in all locations. If I were a betting person, I would bet Jason is only going to the Chicago shows. So maybe your fiancé is only doing the East Coast shows.

But it is all Ice Dreams.

It is a bit confusing. I think that the Delaware and Chicago shows are also part of Ice Dreams, at least according to their website. I used the link about the Minnesota show sent above. It shows different seating options when you click on the “shopping” link.

Can you see if you can figure out the Chicago ones? I cannot.

I did various searches and only found a phone number and email address for Ice Dreams, no webpage to order tickets online for the Chicago shows. They aren’t making it very easy for us!
