2025 World Championships Men's Short Program

Yes, and he did not deserve those 10s. He doesn't even deserve 9s.
Okay, I am definitely a purist and I much prefer the Japanese skaters excellent skating skills over elia, but you can't deny that he has really good programs. I don't think he has amazing skating skills and he should not be getting eight or Nine's in those areas, but is choreography is incredibly complex, the composition is excellent, and his performance and presentation is also top notch. I hate to admit it sometimes, but he theoretically checks all the right boxes for PCs other than the fact that when it comes down to it, his basic skating schools and edge control are not particularly outstanding. But really, everything else picks the boxes

Misha do your thing!

Omg since when 2 easiest quads and bunch of wonky spins is the most complex technical content ON THE PLANET?

You are just spitting on Sasha and all other great athletes of last Olympic cycles.
To be fair, the OP said "some of..." the most complex technical...

Sorry I might have gotten a bit too hot on that.

Britschgi 6th with over 85 points, not bad, however with a cleaner skate he would likely get into the last flight.

Interested to know why. Honestly, not a criticism - always like to hear other people's perspectives :)
Mostly music choices. The music chosen these days doesn't offer enough variety for interesting choreography, most programs feel like uninspired exhibition programs. Many programs have a similar vibe. No one skates fun programs anymore. Then there are slow spins, gangly skating, lack of expression, uncreative step sequences...
