But technical score should be separate to PCS. PCS shouldn't be inflated because of higher technical content.

Well, it's a little more complicated than that. They are linked more than you would think, particularly in skating skills, but also when you think of composition, and the fact that more difficult transitions into more difficult content is going to get you higher component scores.

For example an Ina Bauer entry into a double axle isn't going to get as much as an Ina Bauer into a triple axle. So while, yes, you are correct that PCS isn’t about jumps per se, more complicated technical content actually does reflect in some ways on all of the PCS scores.

But I would agree, that PCS scores should not be notably affected by difficult jumping passes.

Britschgi could have done this better, but I’ll take it. This is one of my favorite programs of the season. Good song choice; the singer has a great voice.
