Actually already much less catus-y than last season, despite adding the 4T. He's a late bloomer and it will take him a bit more time to become more consistent (if he's ever going to get there, some skaters never do).

Dai has great skating skills and I hope to see more from him. That 2A mistake in the middle of his program was weird. It was as if he was going for a 3A but then remembered he already did two.
