Man, Ryuichi is so strong. Their last lift would absolutely kill so many of the other pairs men at that point in the program.

Here or in the Olympic team event? Because Georgia isn't getting a medal here, but they might at the Olympics.

With all this talk about Georgian Judges, I missed posting about the first couple of partnerships in this group.
But, suffice to say, because the FS standings have been mirroring the SP standings, there have been no changes whatsoever in the theoretical overall standings.
And I don't expect Riku and Ryuichi to go against that trend. They were amazingly good!
Can't wait to see Riku's reaction when the scores come through. They are going to be sky high! And she is probably going to jump sky high!
Oh, she was rather calm for a change.
They win the FS and overall.

I still haven't given up on Canada though I think italy is the favourite... The Olympic format is better for Canada with its lack of depth in singles.

I agree with this. Although Maddie is coming on strong.
On The Run Through, Adam Rippon was saying that if Maddie works all summer on her skating skills and components that she could really rise. He complimented her very high jumps and sparkling style.

Canada needs to plead with Keegan to come out of retirement.
I am always impressed with them for that.
