Tickets are now on sale.

They promise that new season's programs are being presented. And it is a heck of a lineup.

"Lineup (as of June 2025)
This summer, the only thing cooler than the ice is the Summer Sizzler lineup. See performances from some of your favorite U.S. skaters, including:

  • Ilia Mailin, 2025 World champion
  • Alysa Liu, 2025 World champion
  • Madison Chock and Evan Bates, 2025 World champions
  • Jason Brown, 2-Time Olympian
  • Isabeau Levito, 2024 World silver medalist
  • Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov, 2025 U.S. champions
  • Amber Glenn, 2025 U.S. champion
  • Maxim Naumov, 2025 U.S. pewter medalist
  • Andrew Torgashev, 2025 U.S. silver medalist
  • And more"
The event is being held at the SCOB Tenley Albright facility in Norwood, Massachusetts.

Event Location
750 University Avenue Norwood, MA 02062

Prices $43.50 - $118.50

It is a small arena, and there are really no bad seats. I went to Skate America there and enjoyed it very much.

Wasn't this held in conjunction with Champs Camp last year? Is Champs Camp in Boston this year as well?

There was definitely a Summer Sizzles last year:

If you go, buy the parking pass. Worth every cent. The Marriott there is a nice one.

Also the rink food was very good at Skate America when it was there- I hope it is as good this time.

Yes it was and yes it will be!

I went last year for free and loved the show. Tickets otherwise were $30 with free parking. This year sadly the cheapest is $50 + $30 parking. I'm debating going since I was at the Worlds gala so not sure how many programs will be new. Rink food is very good. Im less than an hour drive so luckily no hotel to pay for.

The food was good last year for Cranberry Cup so I am hopeful it will be good this year.

SCOB is a great venue. I only wish there were some hotels close by so it wasn't necessary to Uber (for those of us who wouldn't have a car). I enjoyed Skate America there!
Not sure if they have this service for this show, but for others I've seen, such as Ice Chips and Stars on Ice, they have a few buses that can pick you up around the hotel at University Station - the shopping center - and also takes you back, pretty sure there's a bus every 15 minutes. If I'm being honest, I may have used this a few times to avoid the traffic and parking fees ...

With that lineup, and the success of Legacy on Ice, you'd think they'd try for something bigger and more ambitious..?

Last year, most of the skaters did new competition programs. Alysa did not, and Chock and Bates did not. I suspect Chock and Bates will not air their new program early this year either; that’s just a feeling. Pate & Bye did their new rhythm dance last time. Ilia has been teasing that there will be “something” in August, so I’m hoping he plans to debut a new program.

Honestly by Ilia's standards, I have this little part in the back of my mind that thinks the "something" is going to be quints lol

One never knows with him! I've been reminding myself that it could be something like new merch, in order to keep my expectations in check 😎

Sizzler was great! Along with the previously listed lineup, we had Starr Andrews, Caroline Green and Micheal Parsons, Jimmy Ma, Katie McBeath and Daniil Parkman, Sarah Everhardt, Emily Chan and Spencer Howe, Elyce Lin Gracey, Bradie Tennell, Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko, and Tomorrow's Champions in a number led by Maxim Naumov.

It was super fun to see Tenley Albright herself sitting in the audience, just in the section next to mine. They showed an absolutely heartbreaking video of Spencer, Jinna, and Vadim and Evgenia, it was so sad to hear their voices and watch them skate in the video.

The acts were all wonderful, all about 3 minutes, and I am definitely excited for the upcoming season!
