1/ Petrosian is basically undefeated for two years (now 2.5) in the toughest senior competition on the planet, is there not a better good reputation than that? I look forward to the Olympic live threads where you justify the judges burying her.

So all of this was about bringing Petrosian into the conversation ? She's been dominating what is considered a domestic competition however. And many will agree with me, some will disagree, but scoring in Russia has often been hyped.

Sorry, but I had to sit through people justifying Samo getting 23 because of no reputation even though every single judge knew what her reputation was, where she had come from, what she had been through.

2/ Let's hope the judges reward skaters without reputation at the Olympics.

Still Samo skated clean and got the job done. Well done to her. Jia Shin hasn't had the interruptions and distractions Samo has faced.

Jia has had her own trajectory with its own challenges. Imagine how much perseverance and dedication it takes to constantly finish 2nd even when you do your best.

Beause, you know, it's a crime to skate a program that showcases skater's ablilities, not the program that won't suit their style. Duh...

I agree. I really like what Jia Shin does, and with some variety she will become one of the greats. I just haven't seen variety yet. Juniors is a good opportunity to experiment.

Rotation seems to still be an issue for Josephine but she fought for all her landings

I still think this music/program just isnt it for her, I hoped they would change it but I guess its staying another season sigh

Every single athlete has challenges, but Samo gave up citizenship, switched to Kazakhstan to train, then to America to train. She had to sit out for a while to make sure the transfer would go through, and even then there are no promises.
