My girlie Minchae is (again) recovering and I didn't expect much from her first competition of the season, so a skate without falls and/or pops is definitely a win, that sit spin is definitely not going to be valid though... Her La Boheme is a good fit for her and I just want her to be healthy and to have a new dress, the black dress is beautiful but my girl Tango de Amor is very different from La Boheme and your costume should reflect that, thus you can't recycle your Tango de Amor dress for La Boheme, s'il te plait

I am hoping that's the case, it's just that she first revealed this SP somewhere in March at a domestic competition and she was in that black dress (which was to be expected) and five months later she's still wearing it...

It’s cute as practice gear. But it’s kind of arrogant to other athletes not caring to wear a costume at a international competition where costume is a part of the whole package. It’s almost like she doesn’t consider it as a real competition. Costumes can be really uncomfortable to wear, and a lot would be more comfortable to compete in practice clothes instead, it could even give you a unfair advantage because you stay warm. IMO that should give a deduction just as costume malfunction. Other skaters have used old costumes waiting for the new ones, or borrowed from others when luggage get lost.

It's not uncommon this early in the season for a dress to not be ready, I believe at the first Cranberry Cup, which I attended, Mariah skated in her practice gear.

Sophia Natalie was ok , it was like a interesting sp but is a pity her falls really . Was good her technique but i seen she didn't found the right land angle maybe that explains her falls.
